9.5.2019 - Warning against Crimean Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Turkey

Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health warned against the Crimean Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF). The Ministry of Health, urged the public to take measures which are effective on the prevention of the disease.

CCHF is common over 30 countries around the world is mostly seen in the north of the Central Anatolia, intensifying the north of the Central Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia in Turkey. By May 2019, three people died because of the CCHF which is a viral haemorrhagic fever transmitted by ticks.
